Express Scripts (ESI) provides access to prescriptions through retail and home delivery (mail order). Present your ESI ID card at your local pharmacy to get a one-time prescription or a short-term supply of a long-term (“maintenance”) prescription. After getting the same prescription filled twice at a retail pharmacy, you must switch to the ESI Home Delivery Program, or you will pay 100% of the cost of the third prescription. Maintenance prescriptions may be renewed at ESI’s website or by telephone.

If your pharmacy does not participate with ESI, you may pay the entire cost of a prescription and submit a claim to ESI for reimbursement of 60% (after a 40% copay).
